Greens beat the Lib Dems in Clacton!

Chris Southall, the Green Party candidate, beat the Lib Dem candidate in the Clacton by-election. This is great news for the Green Party as it shows that voters who are disenchanted with the three main parties are not just turning to UKIP but coming our way as well. It also shows that the Lib Dems are a spent force in many constituencies and that people are recognising that if you're fed up with the New Labour/Tory duopoly and can't stomach UKIP then we are the alternative because, unlike Mr Clegg and Mr Cable, we genuinely believe in the common good and the protection of our countryside & planet.
